Center for forecasting and monitoring of scientific and technological development of crop production, seed production and organic farming

The center for forecasting and monitoring scientific and technological development of crop production, seed production and organic agriculture is one of the elements of the industry-wide system for monitoring and forecasting scientific and technological development of the agro-industrial complex and innovation activities in Russia.

The Center's tasks include:

1) Preparation of a long-term forecast of scientific and technological development of the agro-industrial complex in the field of crop production, including seed production and organic farming;

2) Monitoring scientific developments in the field of crop production, including seed production and organic farming;

3) Implementation of consulting activities and performance of works on the basis of contracts with customers;

4) Preparation of information, analytical and forecast materials for the purposes of scientific and technological development of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

The Center's staff has developed a "Forecast of scientific and technological development of the crop industry, including seed production and organic farming, in Russia until 2030" and "Road map of scientific and technological development of urbanized crop production in Russia until 2030".
